Young people
Mentoring, school holiday programs, job readiness and tutoring for children and young people across Melbourne. Every program is shaped around their strengths, values and goals.

At this stage, children are forming their identities and moving through key transitions. We help them build essential daily life skills and grow toward greater independence.
Through guided mentoring, participants learn practical strategies they can use at school, at home and in their communities. The program also builds their ability to manage change and handle challenges with confidence.
Each young person is actively involved in planning their mentoring and is supported to make their own informed decisions.

The choices young people make at this stage can shape their future opportunities. We help participants develop time management, change management, goal setting and a growth mindset, so they can make informed decisions about life after secondary school.
Mentoring also covers communication skills, finding a sense of purpose, identifying career pathways, physical and mental wellbeing, and the skills needed for independent living.
Each participant plays an active role in designing their mentoring journey and is encouraged to own their decisions with confidence and clarity.

With a focus on building skills and exploring personal strengths and core values, participants enjoy hands-on activities that spark creativity and imagination.
Going back to basics, we encourage children to explore creative play with everyday tools and materials. They discover new ways to entertain themselves while building resilience and resourcefulness.
Sessions promote active participation, nurture emotional intelligence and support gross and fine motor skill development. Each one is guided so every child feels supported, engaged and able to learn through play.
